Santai Seaplane at WITF 2026: Connecting Indonesia’s Archipelago

Santai Seaplane recently wrapped up three exciting days at the Jakarta Wonderful Indonesia Tourism Fair (WITF) 2026, held from October 15 to 17 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta. Hosted by the Indonesian Tourism Industry Association (GIPI), the event brought together key travel leaders, investors, and operators from around the globe.

Our main focus for the fair was building brand awareness and letting the industry know that Santai Seaplane is officially here to transform island connectivity. We were thrilled by the warm reception from visitors and potential business partners, who enthusiastically welcomed our vision for effortless, premium travel across Indonesia’s 17,000+ islands.

Our CEO, Wirmandi Sugriat, took the stage as a featured panelist in Plenary Session #2: "From Volume to Value: Creating High-Value Tourism Through Luxury and Premium Experiences." He shared key perspectives on how personalized, high-end travel and direct island access are defining the future of Indonesian tourism.

High Engagement & VIP Visits at Booth 11
Booth 11 stayed busy throughout the event as we connected with potential partners, resort developers, and tour operators. A major highlight was welcoming key leadership from the Ministry of Tourism during their official booth walkthroughs, including Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana and Deputy for Marketing Ni Made Ayu Marthini.
