Labuan Bajo
Labuan Bajo is a small fishing town on the western tip of Flores that has blossomed into one of Indonesia's most sought-after destinations. Serving as the gateway to Komodo National Park, it is the launchpad for liveaboard adventures to see Komodo dragons, drift-dive world-class reefs, and swim beside manta rays. The surrounding Flores Sea is dotted with stunning islands — Padar, Rinca, Kanawa — each offering dramatic hilltop views, pink-sand beaches, and kaleidoscopic underwater life. Labuan Bajo's harbor is alive with wooden phinisi boats, and its clifftop restaurants and boutique resorts make it a perfect base for exploring one of Indonesia's most biodiverse corners.
