The first premium seaplane service for Indonesia

Our existing strategic partners range from selected luxury beach resorts, marinas and other waterfront locations, leading local brands, to tour operators and travel agents.

We are happy to explore new partnerships with individuals or companies with a keen interest in aviation and transportation, waterfront real estate, and luxury lifestyle in Indonesia. We also work with selected local, regional and global luxury travel agencies and would be happy to hear from you.

Market Opportunity

A large, and growing market covering domestic and foreign tourists, expats, business travelers, corporate, families and friends. Relevant segments include the ‘premium mass market’ as well as luxury. Santai Seaplane will offer a premium, seamless service at an accessible price. Seaplane services in other markets charge between $300-$700 USD per flying hour per passenger, which allows for healthy unit economics and margins.

In addition, our seaplane services also allow for freight and cargo, logistics and delivery of crucial goods to previously hard-to-reach areas. They can facilitate non-life threatening medical evacuations and search and rescue (SAR) missions.

Timeline

We are aiming to commence our seaplane service in early 2025 from Bali, pending aircraft delivery and registration. Implementing a phased approach, and initially focused route network allows for a realistic execution, while ensuring commercial viability from an early phase.

Our Partners

Santai Seaplane is a subsidiary of Seaplane Asia Ltd. Hong Kong. Our sister companies are Siam Seaplane in Thailand and Samra Seaplane in Cambodia.

We can identify the best area right in front, or nearby, your waterfront location for a temporary water landing site or a water aerodrome.

Width & Length

Width and length to cover sufficient range, even in the event of waves, for comfortable landing and take-off, following national regulatory requirements and Asia-Pacific recommendations by the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Shore Distance

A minimum of 350 meters distance to the shore ensures no disturbance to swimmers and beach operations.

Area

Prior to landing, the area is patrolled and checked by trained personnel on dinghy or jet ski, establishing direct contact with the crew. Guests get dropped either onto a floating platform and picked up by boat, or onto a pier if available.
