Soekarno-Hatta International Airport
The busiest airport in Indonesia and among the top 20 busiest in the world, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport serves the capital Jakarta from its location in Tangerang, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of the city centre. Named after Indonesia's first two presidents, the airport features three passenger terminals including the modern Terminal 3 Ultimate opened in 2016. An elevated Skytrain connects all terminals. The airport is the main hub for Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air with extensive connections across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Australia.
