Domine Eduard Osok Airport
Domine Eduard Osok Airport is the principal gateway to Raja Ampat, the world's most biodiverse marine region. Located in Sorong city in West Papua, the airport serves as the departure point for seaplane and boat services out to the Raja Ampat Islands. The airport was upgraded in 2019 with a new international-standard terminal. Travellers typically fly into Sorong from Jakarta or Makassar and transfer to a seaplane, fast boat, or liveaboard for the final leg to their island resort. The airport is also a gateway for trekkers heading to the Bird of Paradise forests of the Arfak Mountains.
