Tambolaka Airport

Tambolaka Airport is the main airport serving the western part of Sumba Island in East Nusa Tenggara. Situated near the town of Waikabubak, the airport provides access to the savannah highlands and luxury eco-resorts that have made Sumba one of Indonesia's most fashionable new destinations. The airport features a compact but modernised terminal building and can accommodate turboprop aircraft and light jets, making it ideal for charter arrivals from Bali and Lombok.
